Happy Birthday Addysen!

It's birthday week at our house! Addysen is 4 today and Chris has a birthday tomorrow.

We started celebrating over the weekend by taking the girls to see the movie, The Lorax. We all really enjoyed it! We had lunch, did some secret shopping for Addysen, and ended the fun by getting some ice-cream at a local creamery. The ice-cream comes on a stick, they dip it in chocolate, and cover it in your choice of toppings. It was delish!


Today was all about Addysen. We blew up 24 balloons and stuck them in her room late last night. She was thrilled to wake up to them. She got McDonald's for lunch, 3 big balloons from the dollar store, and we bought some cupcakes from Wal Mart for after dinner.
Disclaimer: We are doing a party for her and Graycie when we are in Arizona in a few weeks. A Minnie Mouse party. I plan to make a cake for that so we are going low key today.

She also got to talk to her little bestie Graycie and wish her a happy birthday too! It is so funny to hear 2 little 4 year olds have a conversation on the phone!



After cupcakes she got to open all her presents. Very fun day!


4 fun things about Addysen:

-She loves Butter. Seriously. If you aren't looking she will stick her hand in the butter tub. She is in hog heaven at places like Texas Roadhouse where you can dip bread into little pots of butter.
-She said she would stop sucking her thumb when she turned 4. This morning, after she realized that she was 4 today, she told us she would stop when she turned 10! I'm not waiting until she is 10!
-She has pretend friends. Good Ellie and Bad Ellie. Good Ellie lives in Arizona and Bad Ellie lives in Utah.
-She is a lover and a fighter. She is so sweet and fun to be with but won't be pushed around by anyone.

We love you Addysen. We are so happy you chose to come to our family and spice things up! You are a great friend to Elodie and a fun big sister to Evyn! We can't wait to watch you grow in this 4th year and experience all kinds of fun new things with you!
