It has been such a neat experience to watch the Gilbert Temple be built. Every week on our trips to Costco. Even when the Baton Rouge temple was being built we didn't pass it on a weekly basis. And I have loved this for our girls. To think this might be the Temple one of them will be married in is so neat!
The buzz from the Open House has been so exciting. Watching everyones pictures on facebook, blogs, and instagram has made it so much more exciting to take the girls today.
A few weeks ago when the Open house started, Chris and I had the opportunity to clean the building with other members of our Stake. We were lucky enough to clean the 2nd floor where the Celestial Room is. Very fun date night! And it made us even more excited to take the girls!
I know the girls don't fully understand the meaning behind the Temple. I know that it will be years from now before they understand how neat this opportunity is. But I know that it will come and I'm so thankful we got to go as a family!

Lately...
-They say you will know when you are done having kids. Evyn has had the opposite effect on me. She makes me want 10 more kids. And seeing as I can't have 10 more, I feel like I will live my life always wishing for more babies. Dang it. Evyn is close to 3. She is amazing and sweet and perfect in every way. We love her.
-She bosses the older girls around. My favorite is when Elodie or Addysen ask me a question and she answers for me. "Just a second girls", "Maybe" and "No" are her favorite responses. It's so cute.
-She loves Starburst. For Christmas she asked for starburst, lucky charms, and gummy bears. Every morning when she wakes up she ask me if I bought her lucky charms. And when I say no, she always says "Aw man!"
-She loves the happy kids channel on the roku upstairs.
-She has discovered legos and loves to play in Elodie's room.
-She wants to go to the park everyday and with how nice the weather has been I make sure we get to the park every day.
-She ask about Chris every morning. Aside from Lucky Charms she wants to know where her dad is.
-She is a good eater. Loves fruits and vegetables, and will eat pretty much everything I put on her plate.
-She shushes Ginger. Which Elodie and Addysen did too and it's so cute.
-She loves her crocs.
-She loves the trampoline but only if someone else is out there to jump with her.
- She has been practicing riding her bike and is getting really good at pedaling. Steering is a different story.
-When we read to her she wants to know "letter sounds". She always says things like 'Whats this letter sound?"
-She can sing all the words to "I am a child of God"
-She is my little errand runner.
-Loves Chick fil a and wants to know if we are going to Chick fil a everyday. Or Target. Or JoAnns.
-She loves Halloween music and for dance party that's the music she wants to listen to.
-Loves Mickey Mouse and Minnie. I can't wait to take her to Disneyland.
-Still sucks her thumb and holds her sleeve.
-Great napper.
-Doesn't need a pull up during naps and most nights.
-She is such a joy. When I think about her being my last baby it makes me so sad. I really do want 10 more just like her.

Breaks over...
Is my blogging break over? I hope so....
The girls went back to school today.
Elodie (surprisingly) had a hard time getting up and pulling her happiness together. She kept telling me she was so sad to leave me and wanted to stay home.
Addysen on the other couldn't contain her excitement. She wanted to look her best, with her hair a certain way, and didn't need to be asked to get her teeth brush or to find her shoes.
Apparently it was opposites day at our house.
Evyn Kate can't seem to figure out where everyone went. Christopher had the week between Christmas and New Year's off and every morning she couldn't wait to get up and see her dad.
I'm trying my best this year to refocus my thoughts in to blogging. I really really miss it. It's something I think about every day and realize how important it is to document all of these moments in our lives.
I don't care how far behind I am. I'm chipping away!
I'm back!
{In addition to feeling especially spunky this morning, Addysen was up for a little photoshoot}
Half way through kindergarten. Seems unfair that it's going so fast. I feel like I am chasing my children as they grow…
