Addysen Whitney

I was helping my neighbor across the street with her camera settings and I was using Addysen as my little model.

She is such a sweet little model....

The girls...

We had our family pictures taken on my birthday. While we were waiting for our photographer to get to our location I took a few pictures of the girls. I have this weird irk about having someone else take pictures of my girls. Obviously it's great to have someone else take pictures of me and Chris together and us as a whole family but I just love knowing that the pictures of my girls are ones that I took.

Plus it made things run a lot fast since I had already done them. Atleast that's what I told myself to justify my quirk...

I love these little ladies!

Elodie's Baptism Invitation.

This is the invitation I mailed and emailed to friends and family for Elodie's Baptism. I pinned a few invitations that I loved and planned to just pay for someone else to make them. Then I saw the price of some of them and decided it was better to do it myself.

For my first attempt, I'm really happy with how it came out. And the best part? Totally free.

I figure by the time my girls get married I will have to pay for very little.
Photography-Check.
Cake-Check.
Decorations-Check.
Invites-Check.

Although in just doing all of this I have realized why so many people just pay to have someone else do it for them. It's a lot of work. And it's stressful! But so very worth it.

Elodie's Baptism Pictures

I took Elodie out yesterday for her Baptism pictures. We used one of them for her invitation and I plan to use the rest as decoration on her Baptism day.

She is such a beautiful girl. And smart, sweet, happy.

We love her and are so proud of her decision to be baptized.

Easter Dresses

I have a confession to make. We didn't make it to church on Easter Sunday. While I was overly bummed that we didn't go, it makes sense why we didn't go. Christopher was exhausted from all the heavy lifting, loading, and unloading. Not to mention the toll it took on all of us to drive for 2 days straight and we weren't really sure where all the sunday clothes were...except the girls dresses. Those got put in the pilot. We needed a day of rest. And we took it.

So the girls wore their Easter dresses a week later.

Evyn Kate 12 months

Is it bad for me to say that I'm so glad this is the last month of these pictures? At 1 EK is getting so hard to keep still. Especially in a confined space. All the same, I am so happy I have these pictures of her. I plan to turn them in to a book here soon. I wish I had one for each of my girls. Same shirt, sticker, background.... I love this baby of ours and hate that she is moving in to the toddler stage. Even if she isn't actually "moving" anywhere still! In due time.

Our Good Luck Charm

Evyn Kate 11 months

Wait...What? 11 months? Already? Not fair.

I told Chris last night that Evyn Kate doesn't look any different to me than she did at 6 months. As if her 6 month pictures and her 11 month pictures could have been taken on the same day and no one would know the difference. See?


She is our dainty little baby. More so than the other girls. Still wearing all of her 0-3 month onesies.

I also tell Chris on almost a daily basis (because I don't want to jinx myself) that this baby is so good. She is content and happy. Which shows in her unwillingness to crawl. She is most content on the floor, with a pile of toys, watching everyone flit around her.

We will be celebrating her 1 year birthday in Arizona. Making a full circle from where we were a year ago.

Happy Accident.

I was setting up a little "studio" to take some pictures of Evyn yesterday and had Addysen sit in my frame so I could get my settings right.
