Pre-Thanksgiving Feast.

Since we are spending Thanksgiving Day with Chris' parents and Melissa and Mace are headed to Utah, we thought it would still be fun to have a Thankgiving dinner with our two families. I mean, you can't have too much turkey right?

We are so very grateful and feel very blessed to have such great friends. We are especially thankful for The Hamblins and that we live so close to them. They are truly family to us!

I didn't take a ton of pictures but wanted to document the ones I did get!

Breaking Dawn Part 2

What a fun night! I can't believe this was the last Twilight Movie! I have seen every single movie with these girls and I'm so glad we made it a tradition! Our numbers have been bigger in the past and we missed the girls who couldn't make it!

We had a great time and I love spending time with these girls!

{Out of sheer laziness I decided not to edit these pictures: Sorry ladies! Enjoy the red eyes in all their glory!}

Meliss and I decided to wear our very first Twilight shirts....

Addysen's Halloween Party

As soon as Addysen found out that Elodie was having a Halloween party, she started planning her own.

We decided to keep it very low key and way less than what we did for Elodie. Fewer friends, less food, coloring instead of crafting...it turned out so great and Addysen was over the moon about her party!

We invited 3 little friends but only 2 were able to come-even better!

We started the party out with a little photoshoot of each of the girls in their costumes.

Then we moved to coloring pages...

I served the girls lunch...

We played games (Halloween Bingo and Bowling) and painted nails...

And ended the afternoon with a spooky dance party.

It all turned out perfect and the girls had a great time! I'm thinking a Valentine Party will be next on our list!

The first of many Halloween Parties!

This was such a fun (and loud) evening! I told Aliza's mom that if all went well,  I would love to do this again for Christmas. I think it went great and there is a chance we will do it again! Thankfully we have a few weeks to gear back up for another party!

Aliza and Elodie both got to invite 2 friends. It worked out perfectly that all the girls are in primary together and all but one go to the same school.

We made a cute halloween necklace, had a spooky dinner, played games, had a dance party, and ended the night with a fire pit and smores!

It was really fun and I know all the girls had a great time!

Elodie's little bestie Aliza. Aliza's mom and I put the party together.

Mostly Wordless Wednesday (Halloween Preview)

I thought it would be a really fun idea to host a Halloween party for Elodie and a few of her friends. I love this time of year and I knew we could do something fun for very little expense. When I talked to one of Elodie's best friend's mom about the idea, we decided it would be fun to host the party together. It worked out perfectly. We split the task and it was a really fun evening.

Elodie decided last year that she wanted to be Hermione this year. It was a perfect idea since she and Chris have been reading the books together.

She played the part well and really got in to character!

I will post the pictures from the party tomorrow. For today here is a TON of pictures of Elodie as Hermione.

Elodie's Baptism Day.

Elodie's Baptism Day was on Saturday, September 8th at 2pm. It was a lovely day and we had so many family and friends there to support her.

I loved that the baptism wasn't until 2pm so we had plenty of time in the morning to get ready. We never felt rushed at all. And I should clarify that there is a huge difference between being stressed and rushed. I was stressed. But we were never rushed! I should be grateful we weren't both!

We are so thankful to everyone who came and supported Elodie on her special day. Christopher did a great job and the program went so smoothly.

She was the only one baptized from our ward this day so she got the whole table to herself!

Afterwards we had a few families over for dessert. I did a burlap and white theme for the tables and really loved the way it all came together! We had all white desserts. Sugar cookies, cake pops, kettle corn,  ruffled white cake, and strawberries dipped in white chocolate. My centerpieces were babiesbreathe in mason jars.

I was really bummed that my cake pops weren't as easy as they look...

Elodie has such a sweet spirit. I can't believe she is old enough to be baptized! She knows right from wrong and always tries so hard to be a good example for her little sisters!

We love you Elodie!
