July on it's way out...

School starts one week from today. Summer had flown by and I can honestly say we have soaked it all in. I did my very best to plan something fun for the girls every day and I have loved having them home!

We had a fun trip to Utah. Lots of trips to the library, the pool, the new splash pad, SONIC!

We've got one week left to try and cross off a few more things off of our Summer List and I'm so excited for a new school year.

We have had a great summer.  I have loved making new memories with my family and revisiting Summer Traditions! I love these girls of ours!

Summer Fun List 2014

I can't believe it's summer again! This school year flew by!

This is one my most favorite traditions we started a few years ago! I love sitting down with our girls and chatting about all the fun things we can do this summer!

Last Monday, for FHE, we wrote out the rough draft of our Summer list and talked about our Summer goals. 2 Summers ago we started this new tradition of making goals for the girls to complete during the few months they are out of school. Spiritual. Physical. And Mental.

It's amazing how much influence writing something down and putting it where you can see it helps and motivates my girls to complete things! I got our Summer List printed 12x36 at Costco! I can't wait to put it up!

I am so excited for all the fun things we have planned! Happy Summer everyone!

Happy Last Day of School!!!

We did it! We got through another school year! So exciting! I love having my girls home and I'm so excited for Summer! I can't believe Elodie will be in 5th grade and Addysen will be a grown up 1st grader!!

My "Welcome Summer" banner went so much smoother this year than last! It helps when your neighbor comes and helps you!

Summer is so fun! I can't wait to plan out our Summer fun list and get started on Summer goals and traditions!

Only 2 more years of elementary school…I can't believe it!
1st Grade here she comes! She isn't completely ready to give up naptime/quiet time so all day school will be a huge adjustment for her!
