POTD Challenge 12/27/2009-1/2/2010

I will match them until I can't match them anymore!!! I can't say it enough- I heart matching dresses, and shoes, and tights, and bows!!! Christopher thinks I see church as more of a fashion show! He maybe just a little bit right!


This stool plus this baby equals double trouble! She pretty much carries it wherever she goes!


On New Year's Eve, before we went to our friends house, we had a little Happy New Year Celebration with the girls. Elodie was especially excited to celebrate with sparklers!

POTD Challenge 12/13-12/19/09

Sunday-
I got Addysen up from her Sunday morning nap and found this. She had somehow gotten her pj bottoms off and put them back on inside out. I was impressed!


Monday-
One of the best things about Elodie learning to read is that she will sit and read to Addysen. If Addysen will sit still long enough! It's a win-win situation. Elodie is practicing her reading and the girls are spending time together! It has nothing to do with the fact that it gives me time to do other things like cook dinner, fold clothes...it's not about me at all! wink! wink!

Tuesday-
All the buckets I got to fill for neighbors, friends, visiting teachers, school teachers....I think I ended up getting 4 more after these. Gotta love the $ Store!!

Wednesday-
Yummy goodness I filled my buckets with. I hadn't added the m&m's yet!

Thursday-

Friday-
Elodie's classroom christmas party. (More pictures to come) She was listening to her teacher read the letter Santa's Elf "Snowflake" had written to her in response to her christmas letter to Santa. Since Santa is so busy, the elves (aka: the 5th graders) helped out by writing back to all the kids. She was especially giddy when in the letter, Snowflake mentioned how cute her Christmas shirt was!

POTD Challenge 11/29-12/5/2009

Sunday morning we woke up to Elodie squeeling because she had put all the christmas decorations on the tree....She was so proud of herself.


Elodie's Christmas Program...This is my favorite picture!


On nights that Chris has late class I usually don't make a huge meal. Just something quick for me and the girls. On these nights, Chris either gets something in between class or comes home and fixes himself something. Elodie refers to this as "Pig Food" and I couldn't let the chance pass me by without taking a picture of it! How she came up with pig food is so funny to me! I don't even know how she came up with it! The very healthy Chris eats Steamed Vegetables and seared Salmon! So not a typical meal for our family but he loves it! And surprisingly, Elodie loves salmon too!

Relief Society Christmas Enrichment. We did a service auction. My contributions was a free family photoshoot. It was hit! They asked me to take pictures of the big event. I just loved this one!


And more proof that I need Santa to bring me a little point and shoot-The girls and i went out for lunch on Saturday for my birthday and I asked the waitress if she would take a picture for us with my big camera! I even put it on automatic! I think the little viewfinder was a little too high tech for her-that or she thought I asked her to take a picture of the restaurant and not of us! This picture is unedited to show off her masterpiece!

POTD Challenge 11/23-11/29/2009

If you came to my house around bedtime this is what you would find me reading. I'm obsessed. In case all the camera talk and pictures of other people didn't give it away!


Elodie had the whole week off from school for Thanksgiving. We had her friend Madison over one day and the girls had the best time. It's one of the first times I enjoyed the playdate!! The girls used their imagination and spent the entire time playing. I never once hear "We're bored!" or "We want to watch tv!" Both are big no no's in my house when you have a friend over!

Friday-New Moon Premiere! Taken with my little point and shoot. I didn't take a lot of pictures that night because the screen on my little p&s is broken. It's annoying! I'm hoping Santa will find it in his heart to put a new one in my stocking but I'm not holding my breath-the word camera is a touchy subject in our house since I just got the camera of my dreams which is SUPPOSE to be my present for every holiday for the next 5 years!

Addysen and her tutu. She can very well relax anywhere as long as she has that blanket!! It's almost like her blanket signals her brain that she is sleepy!

And we ended our week by surprising the girls with a weekend getaway to Sea World,which I will post about seperately! Elodie was beyond excited and the whole car ride out of town kept saying "are you serious mom?" Great weekend!
