Disneyland Day 1

We had such a great Thanksgiving Holiday at Disneyland! I'm so happy we thought to invite Chris' parents! And that they didn't think it was a crazy idea to come with us! We did find out after we got there that Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year at Disneyland. It was certainly way more crowded than the last time we went but nothing too crazy.

The last time we went to Disneyland Christopher had just graduated with his Bachelors, Elodie was 3 years old, and I was pregnant with Addysen. 6 months pregnant to be exact! This time around Christopher was getting ready to graduate with his Masters, Elodie was 6 years old, Addysen was 2 years and 9 months old, and I was pregnant with baby #3. Who knows where we will be in 3 years when we go back! Hopefully Christopher isn't getting a PHD!

Highlights from Day 1:
-The girls got to meet Rapunzel before the movie Tangled even came out.
-Having Thanksgiving lunch at Goofy's Kitchen.
-Riding Dumbo with Addysen for the first time.
-Addysen's reaction to Pirates-she isn't a fan but never cried! She kept her hands over her mouth the entire time!

It's that time again...

We pulled out the signing time dvds for Evyn today. I propped her up on my bed and she was so happy! I caught these little clips for Christopher since he wasn't there to witness the first.

Elodie and Addysen have both done signing time and while they don't use it anymore we are huge advocates for signing! I'm excited to brush up on my own signing skills and watch Evyn Kate as she figures out how to communicate with us!

Happy Signing!

Me @ 30

You know I could name a lot of reasons why I don't like these pictures. Maybe that means I should take more pictures by myself. But I won't say a. single. bad. thing.

Instead, I'll tell you why I should love these pictures.

Because....

-In a blink of an eye I'll look at these pictures and realize how young I really was.
-I'm 18 weeks pregnant with our last baby and I'm finally come out of my dark, not so happy place.
-Speaking of the little one...we find out tomorrow what we are having. We jokingly tell everyone that we are finding out that it's another girl tomorrow, but given our track record it would come as no surprise. It's still fun to know regardless.
-My husband thinks I'm beautiful and said so when he was taking these.
-My girls will want these pictures just as badly as I wish I had pictures of my mom on her 30th birthday.
-It's not always about the girls and sometimes it's just fun to take pictures of yourself. It really took about 5 seconds.
-In the last 10 years I've graduated from college, gotten married, moved far from home, had 2 kids, supported Christopher through a Bachelors and now Masters degree, found lots of things I'm passionate about, and I'm excited to see what the next 10 years holds for me. Hopefully it involves a lot less moving and a lot more planting our roots.
-I love my girls, I adore my husband, and I've learned that no matter what life throws at me, if I have them, I can do anything!

Life is good. A lot has happened in my 20's. Here's to many more life changing adventures in my 30's!
