You know I could name a lot of reasons why I don't like these pictures. Maybe that means I should take more pictures by myself. But I won't say a. single. bad. thing.
Instead, I'll tell you why I should love these pictures.
Because....
-In a blink of an eye I'll look at these pictures and realize how young I really was.
-I'm 18 weeks pregnant with our last baby and I'm finally come out of my dark, not so happy place.
-Speaking of the little one...we find out tomorrow what we are having. We jokingly tell everyone that we are finding out that it's another girl tomorrow, but given our track record it would come as no surprise. It's still fun to know regardless.
-My husband thinks I'm beautiful and said so when he was taking these.
-My girls will want these pictures just as badly as I wish I had pictures of my mom on her 30th birthday.
-It's not always about the girls and sometimes it's just fun to take pictures of yourself. It really took about 5 seconds.
-In the last 10 years I've graduated from college, gotten married, moved far from home, had 2 kids, supported Christopher through a Bachelors and now Masters degree, found lots of things I'm passionate about, and I'm excited to see what the next 10 years holds for me. Hopefully it involves a lot less moving and a lot more planting our roots.
-I love my girls, I adore my husband, and I've learned that no matter what life throws at me, if I have them, I can do anything!
Life is good. A lot has happened in my 20's. Here's to many more life changing adventures in my 30's!

Happy Birthday, cute girl! Congrats on your new little one. You look great! The shock of 30 will wear off in a few months and you'll feel 29 all over again.
You look great in all those pics. I love everything you wrote. Happy Birthday!!
I love these pictures! You look beautiful. Glad to hear you're feeling better.
I LOVE these pics and post! Miss seeing you and can't wait for you to get to your old blogging self. :)
just had to come check out your blog :) I know who you are bc I remember reading about Melissa having a baby the same day in neighboring rooms at the hospital. I have to admit... the reason I want a boy to experience the unknown and just know what it's like to have a boy. Pregnancy is a huge unexplainable mental battle... 'dark place' is a good description. I think I am handling it well because I tried not to gear myself up to want a boy- and I have a billion words to say about all the people who say stuff about how we just must be dying for a BOY! I had someone text me today and say "is Tyler torn up about the news?" its sort of like... It bugs me "hey, boys aren't superior to girls, K... we are half the population, start getting used to it!!" My husband melts over his little girls! I would post a big rant about it on my blog but seriously the people who say it to me are my friends. I only hear people disappointed over having a boy when they already have at least 3 or 4... is this China?... there you go... there is my rant, and I don't even really know you :)
Your pregnant pictures are MUCH cuter than mine would be!
Yea! Your blog is back!
